Unit 3.10 - Release conditions, segregation of duties and finalize

Learning outcome - Read the release conditions, apply segregation of duties, and finalize or say what stops it.

HCDI platform rule (Unit 3.10).

The rules. The six release conditions are credential valid, authorisation valid, conflict check complete, Independent Reviewer assigned, review completed and methodology version locked. Most are HCDI's to record, and nothing notifies HCDI, so tell HCDI Compliance. A Founding Six engagement meets the credential and assignment conditions on the programme's substitutes, which the report prints. Where segregation of duties applies, a second member countersigns the finalization, never the person who will finalize. Finalizing cannot be undone, and there is no manual gate closure and no "unfinalize".
