Chapter 15. Two-party and cross-border engagements, and Target Fit
Source note
Source basis - S3, physical PDF page 11.
HCDI platform rule (Unit 3.2); general professional knowledge. On a two-party engagement the assessed parties are countersigned by the Reviewer, evidence carries a party, and each party's edition covers its own actions and the joint ones. A foreign target needs the Cross-border M&A type. That is a platform rule, and this chapter offers no legal advice on cross-border transactions. Protected content is excluded. This manual therefore describes no fit score and no compatibility arithmetic.
Cross-border context does not supply fit rules
Basis - general professional knowledge and editorial explanation. External references are identified explicitly; this section adds no HCDI rule.
Correct transaction type and party attribution are public workflow matters. Jurisdictional legal obligations need appropriate advice. General discussion of operating interfaces cannot substitute for an unavailable proprietary Target Fit method. No fit score, compatibility formula or protected example is provided.

Figure 3.15 Cross-border context does not supply fit rules. Original conceptual illustration; arrows organise the discussion and do not establish a validated causal effect or a scoring procedure.
Original exercise L3 E15
Basis - original fictional exercise. The organisation, events and any numbers are invented for learning. No HCDI result is assigned.
A foreign target is added to a domestic engagement. A colleague proposes a homemade compatibility ratio from staffing totals.
