Chapter 4. The team and the assessed company's people
Source note
Source basis - S3, physical PDF page 7.
HCDI platform rule (Unit 3.4); general professional knowledge. Add the Reviewer before the materiality countersignature, because it needs a second member. The engagement roles are Reviewer, Respondent, Client HR and Executive Viewer, with an executive viewer from outside the Firm invited by email. Keep your own team on the delivery side, with no party. A Firm member added this way is not emailed, so tell them. A stakeholder map, in general practice, lists who is affected by the work, what each needs and how each is reached. On an engagement the map is already partly built into the roles. The Lead's job is to make sure every person is in the right role and the right party. Common Error. Naming a respondent for a party the engagement does not assess. The platform refuses it, and the refusal is correct.
Roles define access and responsibility
Basis - general professional knowledge and editorial explanation. External references are identified explicitly; this section adds no HCDI rule.
A credential describes scope, while a platform role determines an engagement assignment. People can hold one without the other. A stakeholder map should clarify who supplies information, who reviews work and who is an intended reader. Seniority is not a substitute for the correct role and party.

Figure 3.4 Roles define access and responsibility. Original conceptual illustration; arrows organise the discussion and do not establish a validated causal effect or a scoring procedure.
Original exercise L3 E04
Basis - original fictional exercise. The organisation, events and any numbers are invented for learning. No HCDI result is assigned.
A delivery colleague is added to the client side because the Lead wants them to receive an email.
