Source note
Source basis - S2, physical PDF page 12.
HCDI governance ruleHCDI governance rule (the limitation block and the Level 2 certificate statements) and general professional knowledge. You hold a credential that attests competence and authorizes nothing. Within an engagement you work under HCDI's authorization, and outside it you have none. The Certification Card says the holder is not an employee, agent or representative of HCDI Global Pte. Ltd. Do not speak or sign for HCDI. Keep what you learn confidential and use it only for the engagement. Do not let anyone, whether the assessed company, a colleague or your own firm's commercial interest, influence what you record. A gift or a favour offered by the company you are assessing is the kind of influence to refuse and to report. These are the standards of any careful professional. Where HCDI has written a rule, the rule governs.
Professional claims must match the credential
Basis - general professional knowledge and editorial explanation. External references are identified explicitly; this section adds no HCDI rule.
Competence, live status and permission for an engagement are separate claims. Experience does not expand a limitation block. A Certification Card does not make a holder an HCDI employee, agent or representative. This book confers no certification or authorization.

Figure 2.16 Professional claims must match the credential. Original conceptual illustration; arrows organise the discussion and do not establish a validated causal effect or a scoring procedure.
