About HCDI

Our Purpose & Values

01

Our purpose

We believe better corporate decisions require more than better numbers. They require a better understanding of the people behind them. Our ambition is to make human evidence a normal part of serious corporate due diligence, held to the discipline expected of other critical areas of corporate decision-making.

02

The governing principle

Our governing principle is human evidence, professional review, a methodology that governs the assessment, and a decision that remains with the decision-maker. Professionals review and establish the relevant facts. The methodology governs the assessment. The final corporate decision remains where it belongs: with the decision-maker.

How HCDI works

HCDI begins with evidence. It brings together company data, the adaptive digital inquiry of the board and its committees, the structured inquiry of the leadership team and the diagnostic inquiry of the workforce to build a documented view of how an organisation operates and experiences change. HCDI does not rely on instinct, and it does not ask technology to decide. A person enters every score. No model produces a score, and the platform provides no control to adjust a score or close a gate by hand.

HCDI explicitly examines founder attachment and ownership readiness, an area that can materially influence succession, M&A and partnership outcomes.

For transactions such as M&A and joint ventures, HCDI can assess the human fit between two organisations, and not either one alone.

The process continues beyond findings into response actions, evidence of closure and, where appropriate, reassessment. HCDI does not implement what a report recommends.

Where HCDI stands today

The methodology has not been validated. No reliability, construct validity, invariance or predictive study has been run, and no benchmark exists. Calibration engagements are not represented as validation.

No paying engagement has run and no client report has been issued.
